SWING FOR A SOLDIER 2026

Sponsor Information Hub

Welcome!

Welcome to the Swing For A Soldier Sponsor Information Hub! Your one-stop resource for everything you need to know leading up to tournament day.

Whether you're the primary sponsor contact, a member of your company's team, or volunteering at your sponsored hole, this page is designed to answer your questions and help you prepare for a successful day.

Please bookmark this page and share it with everyone who will be representing your company at the tournament. We'll continue updating it as we get closer to tournament day, so this is the best place to find the latest information.

Most importantly...thank you.

Because of your generosity, veterans and first responders are able to attend Warrior PATHH without the financial burden of paying for the program themselves. Your sponsorship helps remove that barrier and gives participants access to life-changing Post Traumatic Growth training.

We're honored to have you as part of this mission.

BEFORE TOURNAMENT DAY

Tell Your Story

One of the biggest opportunities to maximize your sponsorship starts long before tournament day.

Don't just tell people you're sponsoring a golf tournament. Tell them why.

Share:

• Why your company chose to support Swing For A Soldier

• Your connection to veterans, first responders, or military families

• Why supporting mental health matters to your organization

• Why Warrior PATHH is important

Use your:

• Social media

• Website

• Email newsletters

• Employee communications

• Customer communications

Be sure to tag:

@ptsdfoundation_org

@swingforasoldier

We'll gladly share your posts, stories, reels, and photos. Together we can create a much bigger ripple effect than any of us can create alone.

Warrior PATHH Talking Points

Not sure what to say?

Here are a few simple talking points you can use.

• Warrior PATHH teaches Post Traumatic Growth, helping veterans and first responders move beyond surviving trauma toward living with renewed purpose and hope.

• The program costs approximately $7,500 per participant, but thanks to sponsors and donors, participants attend completely free of charge.

• Your sponsorship helps remove the financial barrier so those who need the program most can attend without worrying about the cost.

Help Us Spread the Word

As we get closer to tournament day, we'll continue adding resources that you can easily share with your network.

These will include:

• Silent Auction Link

• Donation Link

• Social Media Graphics

• Warrior PATHH Resources

Every share helps us reach more people.

Sponsor Check-In

Hole sponsors should check in when they arrive.

Sponsors with branded sponsorships (golf balls, towels, volunteer shirts, golf carts, etc.) who are simply attending the event generally do not need to check in unless you've been contacted by our team. If you're attending the tournament though, be sure to find your branded item and snap a few photos of our attendees with your items!

Sponsors with experiences (drink tickets, photo booth, skydiver, etc.) also don’t have to check-in unless you need help finding your sponsorship location. Your sponsorships help create some of the most memorable moments of the day. Capture those moments! Photos and videos of golfers enjoying your sponsored experience are some of the best content you'll create all year. People remember experiences. Lean into that.

All of these photos and videos become valuable marketing assets long after tournament day. Share them on social media, thank your employees, and let your customers know they're helping support an incredible cause.

EVENING CELEBRATION

The Day Doesn't End When Golf Does

We hope you'll stick around after the tournament!

Join us for:

• Dinner

• Awards

• Live Auction

• Silent Auction

• Networking

• Stories of impact

This is one of the best opportunities of the day to reconnect with golfers, meet other sponsors, celebrate your team's involvement, and continue supporting the mission.

Spouses and guests are absolutely welcome to join us for the evening festivities.

The more, the merrier!

HOLE SPONSOR PLAYBOOK

Hole sponsors have great face-to-face interaction with golfers and play a huge role in creating the fun atmosphere that keeps golfers coming back year after year.

Think of your hole as your own mini event.

Getting to Your Hole

Every hole is accessible by vehicle.

You're welcome to drive directly to your assigned hole to unload your supplies.

After unloading:

• Return your vehicle to the parking lot.

• Our event runners will gladly shuttle you back to your hole.

Once tournament play begins, personal vehicles are not permitted on the golf course.

What We Provide

The only thing waiting for you at your hole will be your sponsor sign.

Everything else, from tents and tables to games, food, giveaways, decorations, and marketing materials, is up to you

Think of your hole as your own little event space for the day and have fun with it!

What to Bring

We highly recommend bringing:

• Tent or canopy (essential!)

• Tables

• Chairs

• Coolers

• Ice

• Decorations

• Business cards

• Marketing materials

• Giveaways

• Contest materials

• QR codes or lead collection tools

• Phone chargers / battery packs

• Sunscreen

• Water

• Trash bags

Plan to make yourself comfortable—it can be a long (and hopefully beautiful!) day.

Bring Food

Golfers LOVE food.

Breakfast sandwiches.

Street tacos.

BBQ.

Ice cream.

Popsicles.

Cookies.

Candy.

Snacks.

If it's substantial and easy to grab, it'll be a hit.

Bring Fun

The most memorable holes usually have:

• Games

• Putting contests

• Spin-to-win wheels

• Long drive contests

• Prize drawings

• Giveaways

• Music

• High energy

Keep It Simple

You might have one group that spends twenty minutes at your hole.

The next group may only have a minute.

Choose activities that are:

Easy to explain

Quick to play

Fun

The simpler it is, the more people will participate.

Collect Leads

If building relationships is one of your goals, have a plan.

Ideas include:

• QR code signups

• Business card drawings

• Digital entry forms

• Email signup giveaways

Don't let great conversations disappear once the tournament is over.

Alcohol Policy

Outside alcohol is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

If you'd like to provide alcoholic beverages at your hole, Gold Mountain Golf Club can coordinate that for you, but you must place your order with Cheryl Burggraaf Cheryl.Burggraaf@goldmt.com by June 30, 2026.

Please contact Cheryl directly for ordering information.

Stay Comfortable

Bring plenty of water.

Wear comfortable shoes.

Bring sunscreen.

Bring a tent.

You'll likely spend six to eight hours at your hole, so plan accordingly.

Share the Day

One of the best ways to maximize your sponsorship is to share your experience while you're there.

Take photos.

Record videos.

Post Stories.

Go Live.

Celebrate your team.

Show off your hole.
